The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

There is nothing like growing up a Penn State fan. I bleed blue and white. Since I was young I knew I wanted to go to Penn State. I can't tell you how fortunate I felt when I got accepted. I not only got a great education, but I made a lot of really great friends along the way. Since graduation I continue to keep in touch with most of my original "floor mates" from first floor Maple Hall at PSU Altoona. We all try to meet up as much as possible during the year. Each time we meet up, it's like we never left and we pick up right where we left off. I am currently a Structures Field Engineer at G.A. & F.C. Wagman working on the Intercounty Connector Contract B project in Beltsville, Maryland. The job is a joint venture in which Wagman is a partner with Kiewit and Corman Construction Companies. The first day I arrived on the job I discovered that one of my coworkers, a Kiewit employee, was one of my classmates I graduated with. I have discovered it is a small world when you are a Penn Stater.
